Into the bloggin that is. Three years ago I had a great idea to start this blog where I'd leave some useful stuff for posterity and my kids, who were all in college and pretty much moved out of the house. Ok so best laid plans and all, I didn't blog. Now I'm faced with another failure to launch that of my bluegrass fiddle site. That site started as a party invite on a free website. It evolved into a place to store pics and links and post events and resources for festivals, tunes etc. It was a good site so I thought perhaps I could get on the bandwagon and earn a few bucks through affiliates so I sprang for a website domain. Well, like anything that's just a hobby, after my initial layout I found I didn't have time to keep updating my site with new and interesting stuff. If you don't keep building (your site that is!) they won't come so I never got enough affiliate bucks to offset my costs for the domain. I still use my site for links and stuff so I want to keep it but I'm going to disband the domain and move it's still-relevant content over here. If you visited my site, I thank you and hope you'll find equal or greater value over here in the Blogosphere!
Keep fiddling, Kat
